The SPST20036 Solar Inverter Battery is the highest capacity battery from V-Guard in this range, with a rated capacity of 200Ah. These batteries are therefore your best choice for larger loads and rugged usage.
Like the rest of this range of batteries, the SPST20036 is designed to be used in solar inverter systems, specifically in solar photovoltaic systems. Built to perform uniformly excellently under a wide range of ambient conditions, these batteries are most suitable for deep cyclic applications, as for example in areas that witness long hours of power shut-downs, wherein the batteries of an inverter undergo the cycle of deep discharge and return to full charge when power returns many times more than batteries in relatively less power-cut prone areas. Its internal resistance is also less as is its self-discharge rate, making this battery ideal for a variety of applications.
The SPST20036 is designed by experts to work reliably in the field. For one, the batteries feature rugged construction of the tubular positive plates to ensure longer life and better performance. Secondly, the positive spines are cast under high pressure (>100 bar) to ensure freedom from blowholes and a finer grain structure. These high-quality design and production features ensure that these batteries have a long life and are extremely reliable under actual use.
The SPST20036 is also designed to charge faster than comparable batteries due to its better charge acceptance. Despite this speed of charging, this battery has also been designed to perform better than most other batteries in this class under a partial state of charge, which is a blessing when power cuts are frequent and do not give even this battery the time to charge itself fully.
